Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation Swatches – 095 and 130
With 50 shades available, it should be super easy to find your perfect match, right? Hahahahah! No. I had such a hard time finding good swatch pictures online! So as soon as these came in the mail, I made it a priority to swatch and label the pictures and get them posted!
I’ll be testing out this foundation and can review it after more trial and error. For now, I hope these images help others trying to shop for foundation online. I have taken the foundation swatch pictures in multiple lighting conditions. I made very heavy swatches and waited quite a long time for the foundation to dry/oxidize. I believe dry foundation swatches are vastly more helpful than wet foundation swatches. I’m a bit confused about what my skin undertone is, I just know it’s not pink/cool.
Shade 095 Ivoire Warm is shown on the Lancome website as the lightest “Warm” shade. Revlon Candid foundation in the shade 120 Buff is an extremely close dupe for the Lancome shade 095. Many people describe this foundation has having a slight olive undertone.
Shade 130 Ivoire Neutral is in their “Neutral” undertone category. Lancome shows it as the fourth darkest neutral shade. Their site shows it as being grey in tone compared to the other shades. That doesn’t seem accurate to me, it seems very peach. Milani Conceal and Perfect foundation in the shade 00B Light is a dupe for the TIUW shade 130. Milani describes 00B as “fair with warm undertone”, which seems accurate, but clearly it’s a peach undertone and not yellow.
