Best Nars Products
I’ve tried many Nars products over the years. These are ones that have truly stood the test of time for me – and I am declaring them The Best Nars Products. As you can see, I’m very fond of their cheek and lip products. I’ve tried several base products over the years, but I can’t really say they’ve been worth the splurge for me. I’ve struggled to find a good shade matching their concealers for my skin tone, there are more shades now, so I might eventually be able to find one – but like I said, I like to save money on base products by buying drugstore and splurge on color products such as eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick. The fun stuff!
Nars Lipstick
The Nars satin lipstick formula is one of my very most favorite lipstick formulas of all time. I believe that I will actually finish the shade Rosecliff at some point in time. I swatches Rosecliff in comparison to Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk in my post titled Charlotte Tilbury Mini Lipstick Trio Matte Revolution – Swatches and Dupes. Rosecliff is slightly cooler and more opaque than Pillow Talk. Rosecliff is also swatches in my post titled Lipstick Swatches From My Collection which compares Rosecliff to several Bite Beauty and Tarte lipstick shades. Tolede is swatched in my post Fall Lipsticks for 2020.
Nars Lipsticks can be purchased at both Sephora and Ulta. They don’t always carry the exact same shades, but these two are pretty popular and available at both retailers.

Nars Velvet Matte Lipstick Pencil
Bettina definitely has a sheen, but it’s still classified as a”matte “ formula by Nars instead of Satin. Dance Fever and Do Me Baby are both pretty dramatic on my fair skin. Dance Fever is also swatched in my post Fall Lipsticks for 2020.
Nars Blushes
Several Blushes from Nars have been part of my makeup collection through the years. Tempted (pictured below) is the newest shade I’ve purchased from them. Madly, Lovejoy, and Sin have also been loved over the years.
Madly, Tempted, and Lovejoy are swatched below.
Nars Hardwired Eyeshadow in Stud
The hardwired eyeshadows used to be available at Sephora, but now they are still available at Nordstrom and NarsCosmetics.com. I really love the shade Stud, it’s a metallic taupe with a bit of texture. I swatched it with some similar (dupe) type shades from my collection that also have that textured taupe vibe. The entire Bobbi Brown Nude Drama II palette is swatched in a separate post.

Nars Foundations are my favorite product type, but I do enjoy their blushes and lip pencil! I haven’t tried any of their eyeshadows though, but I’d like to some day.
