Bobbi Brown Nude Drama II Palette Swatches and Review
This is a great palette to kick your every day looks up a notch, but it won’t take you so far over the top that you don’t recognize yourself. This palette can be purchased from Sephora and retails for $59. I purchased it during VIB sale, so that was a small discount.

I’ve now used every shade in this palette and I love it! The pigmentation is what I would describe as buildable- which I find makes it a lot easier to create a flattering, well blended look. I do recommend using an eyeshadow primer or glitter glue underneath the sparkly shades. The glitter/sparkle shades are very refined and not chunky at all.
The shade selection and range of textures is what really drew me in to this palette. I will use every single shade in this palette. That said, the sparkly shades are too sparkly for what I would consider appropriate in my office. I would have enjoyed having a couple sparkly and maybe a matte be a satin shimmer like the middle shade in the top row.
The sparkle shades are a micro-glitter that need some kind of wet base to adhere to your eyelids. The glitter isn’t too chunky, but it’s not the same formula that Bobbi Brown sells as single shadows in the sparke finish. That one is more like a crushed mica that is fairly translucent. These have some metal sparkliest and pigment.
The mattes perform very well and blend nicely. They are not quite as dark as they look in the pan after blending them out. I am completely fine with that. I do wonder if a person with a deeper skin tone might find them disappointing though.
