Essence Blushes- Swatches and Review
Yeah, these really are as good as everyone says they are. The full retail price of these is $2.99 USD. Sometimes they even go on sale though it’s hard to believe they could actually be produced for such a low price! I have all four shades carried by Ulta: Befitting (10), Bespoke (20), Beloved (40), and Believing (70). Update 10/23/2022, I’ve added the one additional shade available – Blooming (50).

I think 5 shades is not enough, and I’d love to see them expand the shade range!
Essence The Blush Swatches
The first image is updated swatches taken October 23, 2022 now that I have the shade Blooming. I can’t believe how light it is. I’ll have to try it sometime in early spring when I’m at my lightest.
I took these swatch photos under a few different kinds of lighting: Bright Sunlight, Shade, and Incandescent light to give you the best representation of the colors.
Befitting is the shade that gets the most wear from me. Beloved and Believing also look nice on my fair skin tone. Bespoke, the bronzy shade, doesn’t look good as a blush on me, but I’ve wondered if I should try it as a bronzer.
I love that the lids are clear and you can see the shade through the packaging. As my makeup collection grows, I’m appreciating clear packaging more and more!
The texture of these blushes is soft and silky with a slight sheen/satin finish – that’s my favorite type of blush finish.

When you initially posted swatches on Instagram, I was so thankful because I had the blushes on my Ulta favorites list for ages because I couldn’t tell which shade(s) would work for me. They’re inexpensive enough that I could have bought them all, but I didn’t want to be wasteful and buy multiple products I potentially couldn’t wear. Your photos helped me to see that Believing was probably the one best suited for me. It just arrived and I was happy to see it does show up on me! Takes a bit of building up for me but it’s quite pretty and impressive for the price! Thank you so much for sharing!
