Charlotte Tilbury LIP Swatches
I’ve completed lip swatches of all the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks I own plus some that came on a sample card in my recent order from her (13 shades!). We have a mix of her two main lipstick formulas: KISSING and Matte Revolution. I also created a YouTube video doing these lip swatches as well.
I’m enjoying these lipsticks quite a lot! I do actually think I’ll be adding more of these to my collection in the future. Do you have any favorites you’d like to recommend?
Let’s Talk Shades
Kim KW – KISSING formula, Hot Lips collection. Super light shade with a cool pink tone. Not completely opaque so it can look patchy if you’re looking super up close at your lips. I won’t be going out of my way to purchase a full size, but if it came in a kit or a mini set, I could have some fun with it using different lip liners or layering with other lip products. Link to Kim KW on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Penelope Pink – KISSING formula. Charlotte says this is a nude pink, but it’s clearly not very pink at all. I’m going to call this a light warm toned beige. Not my favorite shade on me. Link to Penelope Pink on Charlotte Tilbury website.
JK Magic – KISSING formula, Hot Lips 2 collection. Charlotte calls this a peachy nude-rose, but there’s a lot less peach in this than a lot of her other shades, that’s the reason I initially purchased it. You can purchase the full tube for $37 USD or the refill for $25. This is a nude for me, slightly lighter than my natural lip color. Link to JK Magic on Charlotte Tilbury website.
In Love With Olivia – KISSING formula, Hot Lips 2 collection. This is becoming a fast favorite! It’s got that peachy glow but it’s not too warm for me, I think it really perks up my complexion in a happy, cheerful way. You can purchase the full tube for $37 USD or the refill for $25. Bitch Perfect – KISSING formula, I’d call this a light/medium peach shade. This was on the sample card, I don’t see myself purchasing the full size only because it’s not my favorite type of shade on myself. Link to Bitch Perfect on Charlotte Tilbury Website.
Pillow Talk – Matte Revolution formula. I like this one, it’s an easy to wear pinky/brown shade. Goes with warm-toned eyeshadow looks. Link to Pillow Talk original on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Very Victoria – Matte Revolution formula. I love this one, it’s my favorite type of shade on me. It goes with a neutral and cool toned eyeshadow looks. Has a sheerness that makes it super easy to wear. Link to Very Victoria on Charlotte Tilbury website.
MI Kiss (formerly Bond Girl) – Matte Revolution formula Muted berry. It’s like a deeper shade of Very Victoria. I love this shade on me, this was on the sample card, but I think I’ll get the full size at some point. Link to MI Kiss (Bond Girl) on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Stoned Rose – KISSING formula. One from the sample card. I thought it would be frighteningly orange, but it wasn’t! The shade was actually pretty flattering on me. Lovely for late summer or fall seasons. Link to Stoned Rose on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Glowing Jen – KISSING formula, Hot Lips 2 collection. You can purchase the full tube for $37 USD or the refill for $25. I liked this shade. It did turn out to be a lot deeper/bolder on me than I expected, so it probably won’t get as much wear from me as I initially expected. Also great for late summer/fall. Has very small micro sparkles in it. You can see them in the tube, but they are not apparent on the lips. Link to Glowing Jen on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Walk of No Shame – Matte Revolution formula. I like this shade, it is flattering, just a bit deeper than something I’d wear on a daily basis. Link to Walk of No Shame on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Gracefully Pink (formerly Amazing Grace) – Matte Revolution formula. a medium/bright pink shade. Charlotte says it has coral in it, but I really didn’t get much of that. Link to Amazing Grace on Charlotte Tilbury website.
Red Carpet Red – Matte Revoolution formula, cool toned bright red. This was one of the sample card shades, so I don’t own the full size. This seemed very creamy/slippery and I wouldn’t feel confident that this would stay put on my lips very long. But I haven’t actually given it a wear test, so I can’t say for sure. Arm Swatches….here you can see ALL the shades swatched on my arm.
On The Wishlist
Somehow there are a LOT more shades I’m still interested in. I’ve been checking out the shades available for swatching in my Sephora (see below). Cat Walking and Dancefloor Princess are on my wishlist! I swatched them next to Penelope Pink and JK Magic which I do have in my collection so I could have a good comparison.
Cat Walking is a Matte Revolution shade that is part of her very recent release of the “Super Nudes” collection. Link to Cat Walking on Charlotte Tilbury website.
MI Kiss (Bond Girl) is definitely on my list as well. I thought that shade was super flattering and the formula sheer in a way I think I could sheer it down to be more wearable or more bold depending on how much is applied to the lips.
Watch My Lip Swatch Video
This video took a million years to record and edit, so please watch it. LOL. No, but really, I hope you find it helpful. Lipsticks can really look so different on the lips/face, it’s so hard to make a good shopping decision.
I’ve done a couple other Charlotte Tilbury lipstick posts which you might enjoy.

They all look beautiful on you, including the Stoned Rose shade you said was too orange for your preference. I wanted one of CT’s lipsticks for so long, but never got around to getting one.
Thank you! It’s always hard to get out of your comfort zone. I hope she does another mini-set for the holidays because that’s a LOT better than $34 per lipstick. Can try a lot more that way.
