JD Glow Eyeshadow Swatches (2022)

I’ve acquired more shades from this brand, so it’s definitely time to do an updated swatch post! A lot of these were purchased during a Black Friday sale in November 2021 – I love a good sale and I hope they do that again!

These shadows can be purchased at JDGlowcosmetics.com

These are all very creamy and have a built in primer. I don’t think you need a glitter glue/primer with these. I would say that they are less flaky than the Cleonadh Stained Glass formula. Let me know if you’d like to see comparison swatches between the two, I’m thinking about doing that.

These are a really fun formula. They’re not all exactly the same, some are a bit chunkier (Fairy Acid) and some are very smooth (Peachy Keen). I’m really excited to have Opal in my collection, this is a good every day shade for me.

The HD Crystals formula was VERY impressive – some major sparkle happening there! Head over to my Instagram (@stefsedge) to see some video swatches of the sparkle in action. After you mix the HD Crystal with the mixing medium it dries down to a nearly budge-proof finish. I haven’t tried it on my eyes yet, but it’s so interesting and JD Glow carries a ton of shades in the HD Crystals formula. Worth checking out!

I see a few other similar shades on their site that fall in that bronze/gold category if you’re interested in trying the JDGlow formula in a similar shade.

I’d love to see comparisons between your JD Glow and Clionadh. Also, I agree that it’s a shame Molten may be discontinued. It looks gorgeous! I regret not getting that.

I really should compare them! I only have 8 Clionadh because they are pretty pricey. I’ll try to get to it soon!
