ELF No Budge Shadow Stick Swatches

You may have seen a couple of these swatched already in other posts on my blog about cream shadow sticks, but I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated post just to the E.L.F. No Budge Shadow sticks I’ve picked up. (Update March 6, 2023 – I’ve really been enjoying these and I’ve added several more shades…scroll down for the original and updated swatches.)

Original Post:

So far I’ve only picked up the most neutral shades I thought I’d get a lot of use out of which is four of them. I wanted to test the formula, and I do like the formula, so if you guys want to see more of these let me know and I’ll work on getting more shades for the blog.

The shades I have are Perfect Pearl, Champagne Crystal, Rose Gold, and Magnetic Pull. The no-budge finish lives up to it’s name with excellent lasting power throughout a whole work day. Perfect Pearl is VERY light and bright. It could definitely be used as an inner corner highlight. Magnetic Pull is quite gray and somehow less metallic (more satin) than the others.

With these being shimmer in finish, I like to just wear them all over the lid. Adding a matte shadow in the crease (either powder or another cream) makes an easy and defined eyeshadow look.

These shadow sticks retail for $5.00 each, and I believe I purchased mine at my local Walmart (who can resist adding a little makeup to the grocery cart?). You can purchase these online from Ulta (some shades) and also directly from ” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow”>E.L.F.’s website. There are currently 10 metallic colors and 8 matte colors *AFFIL* available.

A video swatch will be up on Instagram (@stefsedge).

Updated Swatches March 2023

Now I have all of the metallic colors except for Rich Amethyst (a purple). ELF has also added a line of matte shadow sticks, I picked the two most neutral shades for testing and swatching (Vintage Suede and Thrift Shop)
